Helen Passmore – Executive Director
Helen established LO-GO Appointments WA in 1995 and within a few years the Group commenced operations in Queensland and New South Wales. Helen is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association of Australia & NZ. Her Local Government experience includes nine years as an elected member, five of those years as Mayor of the City of Subiaco. Helen brings to our company her extensive knowledge and working experience in business and human resources. Her expertise is invaluable when recruiting for Local Government roles.
After more than 26 years of managing the LO-GO Appointments business, Helen has now limited the days she spends in the office. Helen is still very involved in the operations of the branch and continues to act as a mentor to the team, sharing her many years of knowledge and experience with them.
Laura Russo – Manager WA
Laura is the Manager for LO-GO Appointments WA. Laura has extensive experience in Recruitment and Account Management with over ten years of industry and local government experience. Her professionalism is second to none. Coupled with her superior client account management skills, Laura will ensure that all aspects of your business needs are taken care of.
Laura holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Business and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. Having worked in the banking and finance industry for over 15 years, Laura brings with her a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and privacy to the role, an understanding of compliance and correct process surrounding local government requirements
Geraldine Kistnasing – Executive Recruitment Consultant
Geraldine has a BSc in Human Resources Management and an MBA (International). She has been a Recruitment Consultant with our WA team since April 2019 and moved into a Senior Recruitment role in early 2021. As well as her current recruitment responsibilities, Geraldine also manages our Executive recruitment, contract and permanent placements including Director and CEO Recruitment Services.
Prior to joining LO-GO Appointments Geraldine completed an internship with Local Government Professionals WA where she gained extensive experience in developing HR policies and procedures as well as position descriptions for Local Government. With her enthusiasm and resourcefulness Geraldine is very able to assist your Council in providing the best solutions for both permanent and temporary recruitment.
Sharon Dockery – Senior Recruitment Consultant
Sharon has returned to LO-GO Appointments’ WA Team and has taken up the role of Senior Recruitment Consultant. Sharon is highly qualified in Human Resources and Recruitment and with her previous 18 years’ experience in recruiting for Local Government, she is highly qualified to assist our clients and candidates.
In addition to many qualifications pertaining to Local Government employment, Sharon holds a Diploma in Human Resources. Sharon has a wealth of Local Government knowledge and has a full understanding of the correct procedures relating to employment in this field.

Heta Shah – Recruitment Consultant
Heta holds an MBA and has broad experience in recruitment in addition to a background in business development. She is also very experienced in customer service and has excellent relationship building skills.

Bria McGuinness – Reception & Administration Officer
Bria has commenced in the Reception & Administration role and is responsible for all administration tasks for the office including the delivery and management of payroll services for our candidates. Bria offers support to the consultants as well as providing exceptional customer service with everyone she deals with.
Bria has recently moved to Australia from Ireland, hoping to gain work experience in Administration & Payroll. Her background working for several years within the Banking industry in Ireland assists with her role at LO-GO. She is structured in her work, is very organised and demonstrates high attention to detail that is critical in this role.
